Dr Derrick Mac

BSci, Doctor of Dental Surgery (Melb) 

Having been in and out of the dentist chair as a child, Dr Derrick Mac grew passionate about dentistry from a young age. His early dental experiences have certainly shaped him into the dentist he is today. After graduating from his dental degree, Dr Derrick worked in Ballarat for 5 years before returning to Melbourne.

Dr Derrick strives to provide all patients with a comfortable and stress-free dental experience. He spends time with patients explaining treatment options and processes to ensure they feel at ease during their appointments.

Apt in all aspects of dentistry, Dr Derrick works with a conservative approach and enjoys helping his patients maintain their natural teeth. Dr Derrick is dedicated to upskilling through a broad range of continuing professional development courses with a special interest in dento-facial orthodontics.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Derrick is an avid photographer with a love for landscape and candid portrait photography. He also enjoys running and spending time with his friends and family.
